A new year seems to bring with it a feeling of new beginnings, starting over, or doing better. Hence some resolutions – goals really. Along with the new year brings a new season for planting and growing, which can take some preparation and planning. In a way this is the start of our garden planner 🙂
- Start plants from seed – which includes deciding what to plant and when each plant needs to be started indoors/outside.
- Expand our growing area – there are some unused areas of the yard which could be productive growers with a little work I think 🙂
- Start a worm bin
- Use the cold frame more – probably start this late summer/early fall
- Start a recipes section for cooking our wonderful garden produce
