Seed Starting in February

Yes, there is still snow on the ground, but it’s time to start seeds for our spring garden. Now that the garden plan is done, there are things we want to grow this year that require a 8 week (more or less) head start from when we plant them outside! So today I’m trying a new seed germination tray and planting some tomatoes, peppers, celery, broccoli, and cabbage.

This germination tray came with hydroponic sponges, and the seedlings grew just fine through these sponges. Overall I’d say this little tray works well for starting seeds.
