Garden in July

The month of July flew by! We were busy with a family reunion, then 4th of July, and then county fair week. The weather has turned hot so the plants really grew during July. Unfortunately during fair week we were so busy we didn’t get out to the garden much. Consequently a few plants were getting dry, like the corn and pumpkins, and the pumpkins grew over the top of our purple bean plants in the kids garden. Now that we’ve been watering more the plants are looking better. We have been enjoying some delicious zucchini and cucumbers from the kids gardens too. The pea plants were done flowering so we pulled them out and planted green beans in their place. You can watch it all in our video below:
