We seem to have attracted a toad to our garden. They are supposed to be wonderful additions to any garden, eating all those pesky bugs that would otherwise eat your garden away. However, I found this one because my cantaloupe plant suddenly looked withered and out of place. As you can see it decided to dig up my plant to find a favourable spot to stay. The plant is recovering in a bowl of water, but I doubt it will grow enough to produce much cantaloupe. So, what can I say about the benefits of toads…well…I’m still deciding 🙂
